$3 Billion Servicing Portfolio Hits Market

Denver (Feb. 12, 2015) – MountainView Servicing Group, a leading provider of residential mortgage servicing rights sales and valuation advisory services, today announces its advisory role for the sale of a Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae MSR portfolio with approximately $3 billion of unpaid principal balance. Bids for the portfolio are due Feb. 19.

Quality features of this recently originated bulk servicing portfolio include 100 percent fixed-rate and first lien product, a weighted average original FICO score of 755, a weighted average original loan-to-value ratio of 80 percent, a weighted average interest rate of 3.90 percent, and low delinquencies.

Top states for the portfolio are Texas (21.0 percent), New Jersey (8.1 percent), Illinois (7.4 percent), and Georgia (7.0 percent). The average loan size is $203,106.

“This portfolio’s above-average amount of expected escrow balances provides a buyer with additional upside potential,” says Matt Maurer, managing director at MountainView Servicing Group. “And given the portfolio size and the strength of the counterparty, we expect to receive strong bids from both bank and non-bank MSR buyers.”

The company separately brought a $341 million Ginnie Mae MSR portfolio to market on Feb. 11. Bids for this offering are requested by Feb. 18.
